The Tayler Project

The Tayler Project began as ‘the worst house, in the best street.’

The existing Heritage 2 bedroom home was given an Architectural face lift to meet the Clients design requirements. This Build was completed in consultation with the client, allowing the client to hand select the finishes, fixtures and fittings as the project progressed.

The existing Heritage Front Facade was given a full restoration, with the addition of a contemporary garage.

The guest bedrooms incorporate build in robes, heritage front windows and plantation shutters. The Main Bathroom was extended and features a customised Angora Oak Woodgrain curved vanity and curved glass shower panel, this space also including a luxurious 1.9m long freestanding bath.

A storage area completed with Angora Oak Woodgrain finish, powder room and laundry with garage access was added into the existing structure.

The Extension comprises of Polished concrete Floors in the Open Plan Kitchen with Butlers Pantry, Dining and Living space with a stunning lofty raked ceiling and highlight window with Auto Blinds. The house uses Hydronic heating and central heating and cooling with linear grille in the living room. The addition of a spacious Master Bedroom, Ensuite and Walk in Robe with Angora Oak Woodgrain cabinetry and Custom Matt Black steel hanging structure.

The exposed Recycled Red Brick for the feature wall was hand picked by the client, which compliments the Matt Black Woodgrain Cabinetry. The Butlers pantry, complete with Angora Oak Woodgrain Cabinetry was designed to meet the clients personal vision for this space.

As well as expansive Matt Black triple stack glass sliding doors allow the space to be transformed into a large indoor/outdoor entertaining space. A separate bi-fold servery window has been included at the end of the kitchen space.

The outdoor entertaining area comprises of an outdoor kitchen, exposed aggregate curved alfresco as well as an external multipurpose studio and office space.
